You’ll visit a large felt workshop in a small village on the edge of the Kathmandu Valley. This felt workshop provides Nepali women with a fair income.
In the morning, you’ll travel by local transport to the workshop. In the workshops, you can observe various activities, such as wool dyeing, wet felting, and needle felting techniques. Designers create beautiful and sometimes intricate patterns. The end products range from decorative items to slippers, colorful bags, and clothing. After a tour of the workshops, you will enjoy Nepali tea and lunch. Then, you’ll join the felting workshop alongside the Nepali women! You’ll make your own felt product, which you can take home with you. The women will guide you through the entire process.

Dal Bhat Cooking Class
Surprise your friends and family back home with authentic Nepali dal bhat!
Dal bhat is the daily meal for Nepalis. It is a complete vegetarian meal with sufficient protein. Depending on the origin of the rice and lentils and the use of vegetables and spices, dal bhat tastes different everywhere. Learn how to make this traditional and healthy meal yourself. Fresh vegetables and spices are sold on every street corner. Come shopping with us, and we’ll head straight to the kitchen afterward!
